Our Team
Beckett Brueggemann
Beckett is a current member of the TUQ Tufflepuffs. He is a social media coordinator for Fast Break News and particularly enjoys making content for the Broom Buddy Tik Tok page. While new to the game, Beckett is looking forward to his many years of quidditch to come both on and off the pitch!

Jake Malloy
Affectionately known as ‘The Whore Of The West,’ Malloy played for 8+ teams over the course of the 2019-2020 season. This shitposting extraordinaire was recruited after the Fast Break team found his parody @USQuidditch2go Twitter page and invited him aboard for what would easily be the biggest mistake of this project.
Serena Monteiro
Serena is a recent graduate of Tufts University where she played for the Tufflepuffs for four years. She is a contributing writer, creative consultant, and outreach coordinator for Fast Break News. Serena looks forward to when quidditch resumes so that she can run around with her friends and a broom between her legs while looking really cool wearing a Boston Pandas jersey.
Jack Moseley
Jack has been a player for RPI Quadball for the past 5 years and Rochester Whiteout since last season. Achievements include captaining RPI to an undefeated record over the sport’s COVID hiatus and being present for the team’s elite 8 run in 2019. Jack is currently questioning a lot of decisions, not the least of which are the articles he’s posted on this website.
Sam Selle
Selle is a recent graduate from the University of Texas where he played quidditch for two years, one on Austin Quidditch and one on Texas Quidditch. He is a writer, project manager, and a Co-Founder for FastBreak News. A soon to be west coast resident, Selle is looking forward to playing with new teammates once quidditch starts in full.

Jake Zaslav
Jake is a recent graduate of Tufts University where he played for the Tufflepuffs for four years. Nick Zoner
Nick was President and Captain of the RPI Quaffleball team. He is FastBreak’s resident website developer and has a passion for crafting and yee yee vibes. Since starting his freshman year, he has played Quaffleball in seven different states and even made the Austin Outlaws this summer.
