What is Quadball?
Overview
This much-beloved sport was created in 2005 by Alex Benepe and Xander Manshel at Middlebury College. It spread across American colleges rapidly, and is now played around the world. The American leagues include United States Quidditch (USQ) and Major League Quidditch (MLQ). The International Quidditch Association (IQA) presides over international competition.

Rules
In general, Quadball is most like a cross between handball and dodgeball, if they were both all-gender, contact sports.
Since the making of the 2018 video on the left, there have been some rule changes. The field is now a rectangle, not an oval and the snitch catch is now worth 35 points.
Why Play Quadball?
Quadball is incredibly unique. There are only a handful of all-gender sports in the world, even less all-gender, team sports, and quidditch is the only all-gender, team, contact sport.
Quadball also tends to have more action happening on the field— with four balls in play, plus a snitch runner at the 20-minute mark, all players are always in the thick of things.
